Appomattox
Visit the Appomattox National Historical Park, where Robert E. Lee, Commanding General of the Army of Northern Virginia, surrendered his men to Ulysses Grant, General-in-Chief of all United States forces, on April 9, 1865. This 1800-acre national park in central Virginia includes the McLean home (surrender site) and the village of Appomattox Court House, the former county seat for Appomattox County. We've been providing a fun, exciting experience suitable for all ages since we started in the Fall of 2004. So come on out, take a hayride, pick a pumpkin, and get lost in our Maze! Each year we design a great maze for lots "agritainment" fun! Hours of Operation: Friday 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 9:00pm, Sunday 11:00am to 6:00pm.
